Here’s a few examples of some Scratch Brews we’ve done in the past…
Juniper Rye Pale Ale
5.9% ABV • 39 IBU’s • 8 SRM
This thirst-quenching pale ale is infused with Juniper Berries for a sharp and slightly tart kick. There’s a hint of earthy spiciness from the use of Rye Malt and the smooth citrus hop flavors you expect from a healthy dose of Cascade and Chinook hops. This beer will tantalize your taste buds!
Dark Sky Black IPA
5.5% ABV • 61 IBU’s • 40 SRM
Welcome to the Darkness! This Black IPA combines the delicious and smooth roasted flavor of Midnight Wheat and Chocolate Malts with an epic blend of local Southern Maryland grown Cascade hops that accentuate an earthy and citrusy punch. Are you afraid of the dark?
Sky High IPA
7.3% ABV • 57 IBU’s • 7 SRM
A smooth citrus-forward IPA, amped up with peels from Seville Oranges, for a flavor that is “Sky High”! This beer oozes with juiciness from massive amounts of boutique hops…Mosaic, Simcoe, Citra, and Amarillo. Ready for take-off, Captain!
Randal-ized Patuxent Pale Ale
4.9% ABV • 39 IBU’s • 8 SRM
Our Patuxent Pale Ale, but Randal-ized! We infuse a piney, citrus kick by infusing the beer with Simcoe hops on it’s way from our keg to your glass. Hop-forward and delightful.
6.8% ABV • 48 IBU’s • 4 SRM
Nancy likes anything cherry and loves a good IPA, so we just had to combine the two! Brewed with an infusion of tart cherries during the boil and cherry puree as a “dry hop”. Tons of cherry flavor and aroma which matches well with the citrus and lemony hops for a juicy and crisp, cherry/hop-forward beer!
5.3% ABV • 33 IBU’s • 41 SRM
Our award winning Shucker Stout “dry-hopped” with habanero peppers for a nice Habanero heat but without the lingering burn in the back of your throat.
